Ingredients
2 c. dried bread cubes
1 c. cracker crumbs
Pepper
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Sage to taste
1 tbsp. onion
3 tbsp. melted butter
Salt to taste
4 thick pork chops, with pockets
Flour
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 can mushroom soup
Directions
Combine bread, crackers, 1 /8 teaspoon pepper, poul- try seasoning and saije.
Cook onion in small amount of butter until tender.
Add onion and remaining but- ter to bread mixture; toss gently until mixed thor- oughly.
Add enough water to moisten.
Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste on outside and inside pockets of chops.
Fill pockets with stuffing; fasten with tooth- picks.
Flour both sides; brown in oil gradually.
Add mushroom soup.
Bake covered, in 350-degree oven for 60 minutes or until tender.
