Stuffed Kohlrabi (Calarabe Umplute) Recipe
Ingredients
Kohlrabies
Vinegar
Veal or chicken, chopped
Salt and pepper
Parsley
Thyme
Dill
Leek
Butter
Flour
Sour cream sauce
Directions
Scoop out insides of as many new kohlrabies as you will need; scald in boiling water and vinegar.
Make a stuffing of chopped veal or chicken, to which you will add pepper, salt, finely chopped sprigs of parsley, leek and a little thyme; mix well together.
Stuff into cavities.
Butter a casserole well.
Sprinkle with flour.
Put in kohlrabies.
Cover with sour cream sauce.
Dot with a little butter.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Bake.
