Stuffed Karela Recipe
Stuffed Karela has a very bitter taste. The green chilli, curry leaves and amchur gives the Stuffed Karela a blazing taste.

| Skinned bitter gourd | 8 Medium (Karela) | |

| Fried onion | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Fried garlic | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Aniseed | 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Saunf) | |
| Finely chopped green chilies | 2 | |
| Chopped curry leaves | 6 | |
| Turmeric powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seed powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Coriander seed powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mango powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Melted ghee | 1 Tablespoon (Desi Ghee) |
Directions
Slit one side of the karelas and remove the seeds.
Rub in salt generously.
Keep aside for at least 1 hour.
Then wash off the salt in running water.
Dry them.
Mix all the ingredients together except desi ghee and stuff each of the karelas.
Tie each with a piece of string separately.
Put the desi ghee in a serving platter and roll each of the karelas in it.
Microwave for 15 minutes, turning over the karelas after every 5 minutes until they are soft.
