Stuffed Ham Steak Recipe

Ingredients
2 ham steaks, 1/4 inch thick
Whole cloves
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups bread cubes
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions
Slash fat around ham steaks; stud with whole cloves; set aside.
Saute onion and celery in butter 10 minutes.
Add bread cubes, parsley, salt, cinnamon, egg; toss lightly.
Place one ham steak in center of large double-thick square of aluminum foil, cover steak with stuffing mixture.
Top with second ham steak; if necessary, hold in place with toothpicks.
Bring two sides of foil up over ham; seal together with double fold; fold each end up close to ham.
Place on oven rack; bake 25 minutes in hot oven (450°F.).
Open foil wrap; bake 10 min- utes longer.
Place hap on platter to serve
