Stuffed Green Chile Burgers Recipe
Stuffed Green Chile Burgers is perfect for an elaborate weekday dinner. This tasty dish is my husbands favorite and it is not so difficult to put together. Try this excellent Stuffed Green Chile Burgers recipe at home!
Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground dhuck
4 whole mild green chiles, canned
1/4 c salsa (fresh or canned)
1 T black pepper
4 slices lowfat Pepper jack cheese
4 flour tortillas, warmed
Directions
Divide the beef into 4 portions.
Divide each portion in half again and shape into thin patties.
On top of 4 patties, place 1 green chile and 1 table spoon of salsa.
Sprinkle with black pepper and top with another beef patty, sealing the edges completely.preheat the grill for 5 minutes.
Grill the stuffed burgers for 7-8 minutes, or according to your preference.
Place each patty on 1 tortilla, top with 1 slice of the cheese and add Condiments of your choice.
