Stuffed Figs Recipe
Stuffed Figs is a simple and tasty treat that you can either gift your friends or present for a party! I am sure your guest will be both fascinated about and addicted to the Stuffed Figs! Try it!
Ingredients
| Dried figs | 185 Gram | |
| 1 cup coarsely chopped, lightly toasted almonds | ||
| 1/3 cup finely chopped peel | ||
| Icing sugar | ||
Directions
Place figs in a saucepan with sufficient water to cover, bring slowly to the boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Drain and cool.
Make a lengthwise slit in figs, shape around the rounded side of a teaspoon to make a cavity for the stuffing.
Combine almonds and peel and fill each fig with a good teaspoon of the mixture and press figs to close.
Dust with icing sugar.
Store in refrigerator until required, or gift wrap.
