Stuffed Celery Recipe
Stuffed Celery scores well as an appetizer. The recipe is pretty easy and you can try cored cherry tomatoes instead of celery sticks. Either way this stuffed vegetable recipe is one of my favorites.
Ingredients
| Light cream cheese package | 1 , softened | |
| Blue cheese package | 1 | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 1 Tablespoon Dijon-Style Mustard | ||
| Prepared horseradish | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Celery Ribs, Trimmed And Cut Into 2-Inch Pieces | ||
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and blue cheese, mix until well blended.
Add grated onion, mustard, horseradish and worcestershire sauce.
Beat until smooth.
Put cheese mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a large leaf tip, pipe mixture into celery sticks (or use a spoon to fill the celery).
Note: This filling is also good piped into cored cherry tomatoes.
