Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients
6 large tomatoes
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 oz. fat
1/2- onion, chopped
1 oz. chopped bacon
1 Tbs. grated cheese
1/2 c. fresh breadcrumbs
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of sugar
Pinch of grated nutmeg
Directions
Gut a slice off the stem end of the tomatoes.
Remove the pulp carefully, using a small teaspoon, and rub it through a sieve.
Fry the bacon and onion in the fat and mix with the pulp and other ingredients.
Stuff the tomatoes with this and sprinkle the tops with crumbs.
Bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes.
