Stuffed Pork Tenderloin Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork tenderloin | 1 | |
| Prunes | 12 , pitted | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
With a sharp knife cut a slit in the meat deep enough to insert the prunes.
After inserting the prunes, close the opening with skewers or wrap it with twine.
Melt the butter in a skillet and brown the meat on all sides.
Sprinkle it with salt and pepper.
Add the water; cover and cook slowly for 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
Add water if needed.
Slice the meat and serve it.
Add flour to the juice in the pan and thicken it slightly if gravy is desired.
