Crouton & Celery Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| 1/4. cup finely chopped onion | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Croutons | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), seasoned | |
| 10 tablespoons beef broth or water, divided | ||
| 4 rib pork chops, 3/4-inch thick | ||
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Browning Sauce | ||
Directions
In small glass bowl, combine celery, onion and butter.
Heat at high3 to 4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Add croutons and 6 tablespoons broth; stir until absorbed.
Cut pocket in each chop for stuffing; season with pepper.
Stuff chops, with crouton mixture; secure with wooden toothpicks.
In 2-quart oblong baking dish arrange chops, ribs toward center, add remaining broth.
Brush chops with browning sauce mixed with a little water.
