Stuffed Pita Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 tablespoon reduced calorie mayonnaise
 
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
 
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
 
1/4 teaspoon paprika
 
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
 
4 slices Swiss cheese, cut into 1/2 inch strips
 
1 medium size carrot, peeled and shredded
 
4 radishes, trimmed and sliced thin
 
4 pita breads
 
4 lettuce leaves
 
1 cup alfalfa sprouts

Directions

In a medium size bowl, blend the mayonnaise, vinegar, oregano, paprika, and pepper.
Stir in the cheese, carrot, and radishes.
Split open the pita breads and insert a lettuce leaf in each.
Spoon the cheese vegetable mixture over the lettuce.
Top with the alfalfa sprouts, if desired.
Wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
