Stuffed Peaches Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe peaches - 8, large | ||
| Ground almonds | 4 Ounce | |
| Icing Sugar | 3 Ounce | |
| Butter | 1 1/2 Ounce | |
| Lemon - Grated rind of 1 | ||
| Orange juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sherry | 4 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Remove the peach skin and cut each in half.
2.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
MAKING
3.Combine ground almonds with icing sugar, soft butter, lemon rind.
4.Add orange juice and mix well to make into a creamy paste.
5.Make 8 equal balls of the paste.
6.In an oven dish, place the peaches with the stuffing and drizzle sherry and thick layer of icing sugar.
7.Bake for 15 minutes.
SERVING
8.Serve cold or pack in freezer for later use.
