Stuffed Pancakes with Cheese Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 pound sausage meat, cooked and drained | ||
| Frozen chopped spinach package | 1 , cooked | |
| Cooked chicken | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Romano cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Ground thyme | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | ||
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 Small, beaten | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cheese Sauce | ||
Directions
Combine first 6 ingredients to make stuffing.
Heat 2 tablespoons butter and the milk until butter is melted.
Cool slightly.
Add next 4 ingredients and mix until smooth.
Pour batter, 2 tablespoons at a time, into buttered 6-inch skillet.
Tip pan to make round.
Fry until browned on both sides.
Cool; spread each with stuffing.
Roll up and put in broilerproof shallow baking dish.
Cover with Cheese Sauce.
Broil for 5 minutes.
