Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| Mushrooms | 8 Large | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Small, finely chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 2 ounces summer sausage or pepperoni, finely chopped | ||
| Crackers | 6 , crushed | |
| Parmesan cheese | 3 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Lemon pepper seasoning | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Italian seasoning | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel to clean.
Remove stems.
Chop finely.
Combine butter, chopped mushroom stems, onion, garlic, and chopped meat in a 2-cup glass measure.
Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes.
Add cracker crumbs, cheese, parsley, and seasonings.
Mix well.
Fill mushroom caps with mixture.
Arrange in a circle on a 9-inch glass pie plate or other plate suitable for microwaving.
Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave at HIGH 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through.
