Ingredients

 
1 tomato finely chopped
 
6-8 mushroom stems finely chopped
 
6-8 mushrooms with stems removed
 
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
 
Garlic Coriander masala 3 tbsp
 
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
 
Drinking water 1/2 cup
 
Plain fresh curd 1 tbsp

Directions

Gently clean the mushrooms with a wet paper towel. Do not wash the mushrooms.

Gently rempve the mushroom stems.

In a seperate bowl, mix fresh curd and the garlic cilantro masala. Mix well to make the filling.

Stuff the mushrooms one by one with the filling.

Keep the stuffed mushroom aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Stir fry garlic cilantro masala for 2 minutes in the oil.

Add the tomatoes and mix the masala. Add turmeric powder and salt to taste.

Add the mushroom stem, mix the spices and mix the mushroom stems. Cover the pan with lid and cook the vegetables for 5-6 minutes.

Check the tomatoes after 2-3 minutes.

Add water to the tomatoes to form a gravy. Cover the pan with lid and cook the gravy for 5 minutes.

When the gravy starts to boil, add the stuffed mushroom to the gravy and cover the pan.

Cover the pan and cook the mushrooms for 7-8 minutes.

Serve with hot rotis or naan.
