Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe
Ingredients
| Green peppers | 4 Large | |
| Cooked rice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Core and seed peppers.
Drop them into pot of boiling water and cook about 10 minutes.
Remove and drain.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix ground beef, rice, onion and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
Season with salt and pepper and stuff the green peppers with the mixture.
Pour the remainder of the tomato sauce into the bottom of the pan.
Stand the filled peppers upright in the pan and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
Bake approximately 30 minutes or until meat is done
