Parmesan & Rice Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cans (8 oz. ea.) tomato sauce, divided
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup instant rice
4 medium green peppers
Directions
Crumble ground beef in medium glass bowl.
Stir in onion.
Cook at HIGH 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes, or until beef loses pink color.
Stir once; drain.
Stir in 1 can tomato sauce, water, 1 tablespoon cheese, salt and pepper.
Cook, covered with plastic wrap, at HIGH 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes.
Stir in rice.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Cut peppers in half lengthwise; remove seeds and rinse.
Spoon beef-rice filling into each half; place in 12x8-inch dish.
Top with remaining sauce and cheese.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Cook at HIGH 10 to 12 minutes, or until peppers are tender.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
