Stuffed Eggs Au Gratin Recipe

6 hard-cooked eggs
 
1/4 cup (1/8 lb.) butter or margarine, melted
 
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire
 
1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
 
2 or 3 green onions, minced (including part of the green tops)
 
1 teaspoon minced parsley
 
3 slices boiled ham, minced
 
Salt and pepper to taste
 
2 cups white sauce
 
Chopped parsley or chives
 
1 cup shredded American or mild Cheddar cheese

Directions

Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and slip out the yolks into a bowl.
Mash the yolks with the butter, Worcestershire, and mustard.
Mix in minced onion, parsley, and ham; season to taste with salt and pepper.
Fill the egg whites with this mixture, and arrange in the bottom of a buttered casserole or deep pie pan.
