[Salty] Goat Cheese

[Salty] Chives

[Salty] Walnuts

[Almond Paste] 1 pound of raw almonds

[Almond Paste] 8 oz of sugar

[Almond Paste] 1 teaspoon of orange blossom water

[Almond Paste] 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

[Almond Paste] 4 tablespoons of butter

[Sweet] Madjool Dates

Directions

Salty Recipe:
1- Chop the chives and the walnuts.
2- Mix the chives and walnuts with the goat cheese.
3- Pit the dates and stuff them with the cheese mixture.
Almond Paste Recipe:
1- The first step is to remove the almond skin. Boil water then pour it on the almonds and let them sit for few minutes.
2- Strain the almonds from the water, place them on a towel, and rub them energetically with the towel. The skin of the almonds will be removed with the friction.
3- Note: if the almonds dry out, place them back in the hot water to soften the skin.
4- Mix the almonds, melted butter, sugar, orange blossom water, and cinnamon in a grinder until you get a smooth almond paste.
Sweet Recipe:
1- Pit the dates and stuff them with the almond paste. Add a walnut in the middle of the stuffed date.
2- Melt the chocolate. Dip the stuffed dates in the chocolate.
3- Chill the dates in the fridge until the chocolate becomes hard. Once they cool down, you can decorate the dates with edible foil sheet or glitter.
