Stuffed Clam Appetizers Recipe

Eating just one is not possible for any one is my claim for this recipe of Stuffed Clam Appetizers. Seafood is one of the few ingredients I like to include in my daily cooking and this is my comfort recipe that I usually prepare using it. Best enjoyed as an Appetizer this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. Easy eater, Fussy eater. No problem! Try this recipe for Stuffed Clam Appetizers and win over all.

Ingredients

 
2 dozen clams
 
2 tablespoons water
 
1/4 cup (1/8 lb.) soft butter
 
1 large clove garlic, minced or mashed
 
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
 
3 tablespoons fresh bread crumbs (whirl about 1/2 slice bread in blender) or 1 tablespoon fine dry bread crumbs

Directions

Put well-scrubbed clams in a large pan with the 2 tablespoons water; heat just until the shells open.
When cool enough to handle, remove whole clams from shells; save half the shells.
Combine butter, garlic, parsley, and bread crumbs.
Set each clam back on a half shell, spread with about 1 teaspoonful of the butter mixture, and arrange on a baking pan.
Set the clams about 4 inches from broiler unit and broil until lightly browned, 3 to 4 minutes.
