Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe
This delicious Stuffed Cabbage Rolls is from my grandma's cookbook. It is an effortless Main Dish. Beef is the main ingredient in this Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. Surely, Stuffed Cabbage Rolls is a recipe one can try out any time.
Ingredients
2 large cabbage leaves
2 oz. ground veal
2 oz. ground lean beef
3 tsp skim milk
1 slice dry bread, crumbled
1 tsp onion, grated
Dash salt, pepper, nutmeg
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tsp flour
Directions
Cook cabbage leaves in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
Combine ground veal, beef, skim milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper, and nutmeg; mix thoroughly.
Place half of meat mixture in a cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking ends in.
Secure with toothpicks.
Place in small baking dish.
Repeat with remaining meat mixture and cabbage leaf.
Blend beef broth and flour; pour over cabbage rolls.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes.
