Stuffed Cabbage Leaves Recipe
Ingredients
| Cabbage leaves | 4 Large | |
| Onions | 2 , finely chopped | |
| Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 oz. lamb's liver, chopped | ||
| Tomato Paste | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pinch of grated nutmeg | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Boil the cabbage leaves in salt water for 5 minutes.
2) Drain, cool, and then discard the hard stems from each leaf.
MAKING
3) Take a pan, melt margarine and fry onions until tender.
4) Stir fry lamb's liver for 5 minutes.
5) Blend in tomato puree, seasoning, and nutmeg.
6) Allow to cool.
7) Spoon in the filling in each cabbage leaf, fold and roll up the leaves.
8) Bake the stuffed cabbage leaves in greased ovenproof dish at 350 degree F, Gas Mark 4, for 45 minutes.

9) Top with margarine and serve hot.
