Stroganoff Steakwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Large, separated into rings | |
| Mushrooms | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 3/4 pound beef round steak, cut into thin strips | ||
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 Kaiser rolls or hamburger buns, split, toasted, and buttered | ||
| Paprika | ||
Directions
Melt butter in a 10 inch skillet.
Cook onion and mushrooms in butter till tender but not brown, then push to one side and add steak strips.
Cook and stir over medium high heat till browned.
Blend the sour cream, sugar, salt, and dry mustard.
Stir into steak and onion mixture in skillet.
Heat through over low heat; do not boil.
Spoon steak stroganoff onto the toasted and buttered rolls.
Sprinkle each with paprika.
