Stroganoff Sauce Recipe
Stroganoff Sauce is an amazingly delicious version of side dish. An easy to prepare recipe, this Stroganoff Sauce is a dish that you will surely love to talk about with us.
Ingredients
1/4 cup (14 lb.) butter or margarine
1 small onion, minced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/4 cups regular-strength beef broth
1 cup (1/2 pt.) sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
Salt and pepper
Directions
Heat butter or margarine in a heavy pan; add onion and saute until onion is limp.
Stir in flour and cook until blended and bubbly.
Slowly stir in broth and cook, stirring, until thickened.
Mix in sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon dill weed, and salt and pepper to taste.
Do not let sauce boil after sour cream has been added. (Reheat over low heat, stirring constantly, just to the boiling point.)
