Strip Steaks with Broccoli and Spicy Orange Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Boneless New York strip steaks - 4 trimmed (9 to 10 ounces each) | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons | ||
| Safflower oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Beef broth | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Red pepper flakes | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Broccoli | 1 Bag (1kg), frozen | |
| Orange marmalade | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Asian dark sesame oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Sprinkle salt, pepper and flour on the steaks.
MAKING
2.Heat oil in a large heavy skillet on medium high flame.
3.Put the steaks in it and cook for 6 minutes by turning one time.
4.Put the chicken on a cutting board and cover with foil.
5.Put broth and pepper flakes in the skillet and boil.
6.Once done, continue cooking on low flame for 4 minutes.
7.Add marmalade and broccoli until heated through for approximately 2 minutes.
8.Turn off the flame and add sesame oil.
9.Make slices of steak of 1/3 inches.
SERVING
10.Serve slices of steak with topping of sauce.
