Strip Loin Steaks Recipe
Ingredients
4 strip loin steaks, 8-10 oz(250-300g) each
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
3 medium onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, smashed and chopped
1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped parsley
1/4 cup (50 ml) raspberry wine vinegar
1/2 cup (125 ml) taco sauce
Oil
Salt and pepper
Directions
Preheat barbecue at HIGH.
Brush steaks with oil and place on hot grill.
Cook 8 to 10 minutes depending on taste.
Turn 3 to 4 times and season after searing.
Meanwhile, heat butter in saucepan.
Cook onions, garlic and parsley 3 to 4 minutes over low heat.
Add vinegar; cook 3 to 4 minutes over medium-high heat.
Season and stir in taco sauce; cook 2 to 3 minutes over low heat.
