Ingredients

 String beans - 1 can (16-ounce) or freshly cooked, drained
 Pimiento1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Chives/onions/ or pearl onions - 1/4 cup, chopped
 FRENCH DRESSING
 Tomato juice1 Cup (16 tbs)
 White vinegar1 Tablespoon
 Onion flakes1 Teaspoon
 Basil1/8 Teaspoon
 Dry mustard1/8 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder1/8 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1) FOR THE FRENCH DRESSING: Take a bowl and combine all ingredients in it. Chill for several hours.
2) Take a bowl and place pimiento and beans in it. Add French Dressing and mix together. Place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours.
3) Add onion and mix thoroughly.

SERVING
4) Line a salad bowl with lettuce and spoon out the salad on it. Serve immediately.
