Strawberry Torte Recipe
Strawberry torte is a fruity little torte that is a hit with fruit and berry lovers. Prepared with cream cheese processed along with strawberries and sugar, the stawberry torte is a chilled dessert that is easily made and tastes terrific.
Ingredients
Lady fingers or angel food cake to line pan
1 3 ounce package strawberry flavored gelatin
1 envelope unfavored gelatine
1 cup boiling water
1 8 ounce package cream cheese, cubed
1 16 ounce package frozen strawberries, partially thawed, cut in 8 pieces
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Directions
Line sides and bottom of a 9 spring form pan with lady fingers or angel food cake slices.
Put gelatins and water into Osterizer container, cover and process at STIR until gelatin is dissolved.
Push BLEND button, remove cover and add cream cheese pieces gradually.
When smooth, add strawberry pieces one at a time.
Process until smooth, then pour into prepared pan.
Blender whip cream and spread on top.
Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
