Ingredients
1 1/3 cups (15-ounce can) condensed milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 cup sliced strawberries
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
24 vanilla wafers
Directions
Blend the condensed milk and lemon juice.
Stir until the mixture thickens.
Add sliced strawberries.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Line a narrow, oblong pan or spring-form cake pan with waxed paper.
Cover with the strawberry mixture.
Add a layer of vanilla wafers, alternating in this way, until the strawberry mixture is used and finishing with a layer of wafers.
Chill in the refrigerator for 6 hours or longer.
