Strawberry Pie Filling Recipe
Ingredients
| Strawberries | 1 1/2 Quart | |
| Corn starch | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Teaspoon |
Directions
Clean and hull berries.
Measure 3/4 cup of berries and mash in 1-quart measure.
Add water and 3/4 to 1 cup sugar, depending on sweetness of berries.
Microwave 5 to 6 minutes on HIGH, or until mixture is boiling.
Soften corn starch in small amount of water and add to mixture.
Microwave 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH, or until mixture thickens, stirring once.
Stir in butter.
Cool.
Fill baked pie shell with remaining strawberries.
Pour cooled glaze over top.
Garnish with whipped cream.
