1)Wash berries, hull and drain well.
2) Take a strainer and force jam through into a bowl.
3)In another bowl, put almonds and cracker crumbs in another bowl.
4)In a small bowl, beat eggs slightly.
5)Then, dip berries in jam and then roll in almonds.
6)Dip berries in beaten egg and roll in cracker crumbs.
7)Chill the berries for several hours.
8)Take a pan and heat deep fat.
9)Cook fritters until they are golden brown. Drain.
10)Serve plain or dipped in confectioners' sugar.
