Strawberry Fig Preserves Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups mashed figs
2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry gelatin
3 cups sugar
Directions
Combine the figs, dry gelatin mix and sugar in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil.
Boil gently for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour quickly into hot sterilized jars.
Cover with a 1/8 inch layer of hot paraffin or seal with 2 piece lids.
