Strawberry Tiramisu Recipe Video

Strawberry Tiramisu is super easy to make...as long as you have all the ingredients ready. The pound cake in this video was homemade. It is actually better to leave the pound cake intact instead of cutting them up into strips. I didn't have mascarpone cheese on hand, so I made a substitute for it. The mascarpone cheese substitute was made with cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. After refridgerating it for a while, the strawberry tiramisu turned out well!

Ingredients

 Pound cake1 Kilogram
 Strawberry preserves1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Mascarpone cheese substitute1 Cup (16 tbs) (1/8 cup cream cheese, 2tbsp heavy whipping cream)
 Strawberries4 Large, thinly sliced

Directions

MAKING
1. In a dish, arrange the sliced pieces of pound cake at the bottom.
2. Apply a layer of the strawberry preserve over the cake slices, covering every area of the cake.
3. Apply a layer of the mascarpone substitute over the strawberry preserves.
4. Top the tiramisu with sliced pieces of strawberry, covering every inch of the cake. Refrigerate the tiramisu for 1-2 hours.

SERVING
5. Cut the strawberry tiramisu into desired pieces and serve it on a dessert plate.
