Strawberry Rum Fizz Recipe

6 juice oranges
 
2 large lemons
 
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) bottled strawberry syrup
 
Red food coloring, optional
 
Rum (about 1 1/4 cups or 300 ml)
 
1 quart (1 liter) club soda or ginger ale, chilled

Directions

Assemble Citrus Juicer.
Juice oranges and lemons (about 21/2 cups or 625 ml) orange juice and about 3/4 cup or 200 ml lemon juice).
Stir in strawberry syrup and, if desired, food coloring.
Chill.
To serve, pour about 1/2 cup (125 ml) chilled mixture into each 8-ounce (250 ml) glass; add about 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rum and desired amount of crushed ice.
Fill with club soda; stir.
