Directions
MAKING
1 In a bowl, mix sugar, arrowroot, cloves and cardamom.
2 Add in strawberries, rhubarb and a few drops food color.Mix well (If frozen rhubarb is used, thaw, then drain thoroughly and use only 1/3 cup sugar.)
3 Into a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish, pour the mixture.
4 Using a pastry blender or fork mix the remaining ingredients until crumbly.
5 Sprinkle over strawberries and rhubarb.
6 Bake in 350°Fahrenheit oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
SERVING
7 Serve as desired.
