Strawberry Layered Dessert Recipe
|Sugar free strawberry banana gelatin mix||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cold water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ice cubes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar free low fat vanilla ice cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fresh strawberries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), hulled and sliced|

Add the boiling water and stir until dissolved.
Put the cold water into a 2 cup (500 mL) measure.
Add enough ice cubes until the measuring cup is 1 1/4 cup (310 mL) full.
Put the cold water and ice into a food processor.
Add the gelatin mixture.
Blend until the ice cubes almost disappear.
Divide this gelatin mixture in half.
Add the ice cream to one half and the strawberries to the other.
Mix until smooth.
In each of four individual dessert dishes, spoon a layer of fruit mixture.
Spoon a creamy layer on top.
Chill until set.
This will take an hour or so.
Top with your favorite white topping.
