Homemade Strawberry Jelly And Jam Recipe

| 2 1/2 qts fully ripe strawberries | ||
| 3/4 cup rose wine or water | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 bottle liquid fruit pectin | ||
Directions
Crush berries, one layer at a time, with a potato masher.
Add rose or water and mix well.
Pour into a large sieve lined with a double thickness of cheesecloth.
Drain and measure 2 cups of the juice into a large saucepan.
Add sugar and lemon juice.
Bring to a full rolling boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
Stir in pectin and bring again to a rolling boil.
Boil hard for 1 minute stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and skim.
Pour quickly into hot sterilized glasses.
Cover with hot melted paraffin.
