Strawberry Ice Cream Parfait Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 (9") pie shell (any kind), baked and cooled | ||
| Strawberry package | 1 , flavored (Filling:) | |
| Boiling water | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Filling:) | |
| 1 pint strawberry ice cream | ||
| Strawberries | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced (Filling:) | |
| 3/4 cup heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks | ||
Directions
Mix gelatin and water in a large bowl.
Add ice cream by spoonfuls and stir until melted and well blended.
Chill until mixture mounds when dropped from a spoon, then fold in berries.
Spoon into pie shell and chill until firm.
Garnish with whipped cream.
