Classic Strawberry Icecream Recipe Video
Prepare this cool desert for coming summer.
Ingredients
4 cups sliced strawberries
6 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 cups sugar
Pinch of salt
Milk
One 10-pound bag of ice
Rock salt
Directions
Place strawberries in a blender and blend until they reach a liquid consistency. Crack eggs into bowl and beat well. Add in strawberry puree, vanilla extract and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Pour mixture into ice cream maker tin, add sugar and salt, and stir one last time. Finally, add enough milk to the mixture to bring it to the full line on the tin and close. Place the tin in the ice cream maker and surround with ice and rock salt. Run ice cream maker for 1 hour to 1 ½ hours, until the ice cream tin becomes slows or becomes too heavy to move. Chill ice cream in the freezer for another hour, then serve.
