Directions

Cook the sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan to 228°F or until the mixture threads.
Mash the strawberries well or put through a ricer.
Add to the syrup mixture, mix well, and chill.
Turn into the freezing tray of an automatic refrigerator, and freeze with the cold control at coldest setting until firm, stirring up well with a fork twice after the mixture has begun to freeze.
