Strawberry Ice Recipe

Ingredients
2 10-ounce packages frozen sliced strawberries, thawed (2 cups)
1 3-ounce package strawberry-flavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
Puree strawberries in blender.
Set aside.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in lemon juice and 1 cup cold water.
Stir in strawberries.
Freeze in two 4-cup refrigerator trays.
Break into chunks; in chilled bowl beat half the mixture with an electric mixer till light and fluffy.
Return to tray; repeat with remaining mixture.
Freeze firm.
