Strawberry Cream Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
2 tsp strawberry-flavored cream cheese
3 tsp Cary's Sugar-Free Maple-Flavored Syrup
8 oz. sugar-free lemon
Pkg. cake mix
4 tsp all-natural fruit preserves
Directions
Use a vegetable spray to lightly grease the cookie sheets.
Combine cream cheese and maple syrup in a small bowl.
Cream thoroughly.
Beat in cake mix until mixture is moist and in large crumbs.
Chill at least 10 minutes.
Lightly dust hands with flour.
Form dough into 30 balls.
Place balls on cookie sheets about 2 in. (5 cm) apart.
Press center of each with thumb.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and press down centers again.
Continue baking 5 to 6 minutes more.
Cool slightly and fill centers with preserves.
