Simple Strawberry Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| White cake mix | 1 (Cake:) | |
| 1 small box strawberry Jell-0 | ||
| Oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Cake:) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Cake:) | |
| Eggs | 4 standard (Cake:) | |
| 1 small pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained, reserving juice | ||
| Powdered sugar | 1 box (Icing:) | |
| Butter stick/Margarine | 1 (Icing:) | |
| 4 Tbsp. strawberry juice | ||
| Red food coloring | ||
Directions
Cake: Preheat oven to 350".
Combine cake mix, strawberry Jell-O, oil and water and beat 2 minutes.
Add eggs and beat 4 minutes.
Stir in strawberries.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan and bake 35 to 45 minutes.
Icing: Mix all ingredients together and spread over top of cake.
