Ingredients
2 1/4 cups fresh strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup thawed orange juice concentrate, undiluted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon imitation strawberry extract (optional)
1 large ripe banana
2 cups low-fat buttermilk
Orange rind strips (optional)
Directions
1. Place first 6 ingredients in a food processor; process until smooth. Combine strawberry mixture and buttermilk in freezer can of an ice-cream freezer, and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Spoon ice cream into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze 1 hour or until firm. Garnish with orange rind strips, if desired.
