Strawberry Blondes Recipe
I originally made this Strawberry Blondes for my spouse but I can't stop eating it now! Stock up on more and more Fruits as you will want to make this Strawberry Blondes time and again. I am certain both of us will be in agreement that this Strawberry Blondes is truly delectable.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup (12-ounce jar) strawberry preserves
1 package Fluffy White Frosting Mix
1 tablespoon Butter, melted
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
Directions
In large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add butter, eggs, water and almond extract.
Blend well at low speed of mixer.
Spread batter in greased and floured 13x9-inch pan.
Top with preserves,spreading carefully to cover.
Prepare frosting mix as directed on package.
Fold in melted butter and coconut.
Spread over preserves.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown.
Cool in pan.
