Directions
Drain strawberries, reserving syrup.
Pour boiling water over gelatin in bowl; stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Add enough cold water to reserved syrup to measure 1 cup; stir into dissolved gelatin.
Refrigerate, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon.
In chilled bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff.
Beat gelatin mixture until foamy.
Fold gelatin and strawberries into whipped cream.
Pour into 4-cup mold or 6 to 8 individual molds.
Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.
Unmold on serving plate.
If desired, serve with sweetened whipped cream and garnish with strawberries or other fruits.
