Strawberries Flambe Recipe
This Strawberries Flambe is si deliciously made with orange and brandy flavor! When spooned over your favorite ce creams or cakes, this spoon over ice cream or cake. Can just taste heavanly! Give this very easy dessert topping a try.
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange rind | 2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| 1/4 cup brandy, kirsch or Cointreau | ||
| 1 quart fresh strawberries, washed, stemmed, and dried | ||
| Strawberry, vanilla, New York, or rum ice cream or pound cake slices | ||
Directions
Melt butter or margarine in blazer pan of chafing dish over direct high flame.
Stir in sugar, juice, rind, and 2 tablespoons brandy, kirsch, or cointreau; cook until mixture is full of bubbles.
Fold in strawberries; heat about 1 minute.
Warm remaining liqueur in ladle; pour over strawberries and ignite.
When flame dies, spoon over ice cream or cake.
