Ingredients

 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cornstarch1/2 Tablespoon
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs4 , beaten
 Sour cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vanilla1/2 Teaspoon
 Strawberries2 Pint, halved

Directions

Combine sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan.
Gradually, stir in milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it boils.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Blend milk mixture into egg mixture in saucepan.
Add sour cream and vanilla; beat with whisk until well blended.
Cool immediately by placing in a bowl of ice cold water for a few minutes.
Cover and chill thoroughly.
To serve, spoon custard sauce over strawberries.
Will literally melt in your mouth.
