Directions
1. Wash strawberries and rinse under cold water just enough to remove sand. Cut off stems. Place in a large bowl and add port. Puncture the fruit with a fork so that it will absorb the wine. Chill in the refrigerator at least one hour.
2. Remove strawberries from the refrigerator, add figs, mix together and partially crush. Add the kirsch and mix. Add the whipped cream and mix again. Add the ice cream and stir just enough to blend in with the other ingredients.
3. Transfer the mixture to four individual glasses or a deep dessert dish. Crush the macaroons and sprinkle over the dessert.
4. Sprinkle the cordial over the macaroons and serve immediately.
