Stove Top Chicken Gravy Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup each diced carrot and chopped celery leaves | ||
| 2 packets instant chicken broth and seasoning mix | ||
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
Directions
In small nonstick skillet heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add vegetables and saute until softened.
In small cup combine 1 tablespoon water with the cornstarch, stirring to dissolve cornstarch; add to vegetable mixture along with remaining water and broth mix.
Stirring constantly, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes; let cool slightly.
Pour vegetable mixture into blender container and process at low speed until smooth; return to skillet and heat.
